Shaping dwarf alberta spruce into pom pom style?

I really want to shape my alberta spruce in the pom pom style but alot of websites only talk about the spiral or poodle shape...is there a site that can explain more about the pom pom style with the alberta spruce? And if anyone has tried to do it how hard is it to create this kind of shape?

I specialize in trimming topiaries, and I can say that I have never trimmed an Alberta pom pom, because, as far as I know, they do not exist. The tree grows in an upright form, whereas pom poms spread, like junipers. Which is why junipers are usually what you see in a pom pom. Wrong growth pattern/habit for a pom pom. You would have alot more luck trimming your Alberta into a spiral.
