is there such a thing as a food for cats and dogs?
its because i have a pom that is 2 years old and i got a kitty..so i buy them each their food but my doggy is always eating the kitty's food...and i dont want her to get sick ...so i buy my kitty chickn flavor because i know that fish is bad for dogs...but i wanted to know if there's a food that i can give to both ?
No, there isn't. Cats need more protein than dogs, as well as additional nutrients that aren't in a dog's food. Cats who eat too much dog food can suffer from nutritional deficiencies that can lead to serious health problems (for instance, taurine deficiency can lead to blindness and heart problems in a cat), while dogs who eat cat food can get an upset stomach.

The best thing to do is to feed your cat up on a chair or some place where the dog can't get to the cat's food, and feed your dog scheduled meals rather than leaving its food out all day.
