The cat sings the Meow Mix jingle each hour, on the hour. There is a light sensor on the clock so the clock doesn't sing it when the room is dark, and there is also an on/off switch for the sound.

The tail swings back and forth as a pendulum and the eyes go back and forth, and also the mouth moves.
