I just got a new kitten that i found and he makes a funny meow sound when he eats?
I asked my vet and he said it might be from him not having a good meal every day like now and he is happy.
your vet is correct, he's happy. Cats make many different verbal sounds, 'you'll soon work out which each one means, but be careful of the one that sounds like a tiger with toothace. that means he's not very happy! good luck
