A very sweet stray cat lives outside my house. I want him to come live with me, but my house cat HATES him!?
I've been feeding this cat outside my apartment, and hes SUPER sweet.
I found out about his old owner; he always sleeps outside an abandoned apartment with a bent little figurine that looks a lot like him. So obviously he once had owners, but was abandoned here and remains a stray.
I really like this cat; I've given him a name; but alas, my house cat, Saki, hates his GUTS.
Every time the stray cat comes here, Saki will FREAK out and attack the window where the stray cat sits.
I wish Saki liked the stray cat more, so he could come and live with us.
I would love some help on how I could get Saki to like this cat more.
Take the cat in and give them some time. There will be some hissing and drama a first, this is normal.
Eventually they will come to accept each other and become friendly, it just takes some time and patience.
