Anyone know about symbols on rings, or inside bands?
A ring I bought has diamond -shapes carved on the inside of the band.
It's two small diamond carvings beside each other, then in the middle it's three shapes creating one big diamond shape in the centre (still inside the band, just behind the gemstone at front),..
then two more small diamond carvings next to it.
Just wondering if there's any symbolic meaning to it.
Most likely that is the jeweler's hallmark. Do you have a picture? Is the ring sterling or vintage?
